Hi, I’m Ashlea, I'm a mum of two, and Director of ClearSpace Home Solutions Ltd. I set up ClearSpace to help people feel more in control of their homes, whether they are moving, resetting a space or simply trying to get things back into order.
Before starting ClearSpace, I was a director of Akers Removals Ltd for 14 years. During that time, I worked in hundreds of homes and was involved in every stage of the moving process. I understand exactly how a removal day works, the pressure of handing keys back on time, and the importance of leaving a property clean, organised and ready for its next chapter - whether that is leaving your former home, a landlord inspection or moving into a new home.
I have a strong eye for detail and a practical understanding of how homes function, particularly during times of change. Running a service-based business has taught me the importance of reliability, clear communication, and doing things properly. With ClearSpace, you deal directly with me from start to finish - ensuring consistency, accountability, and a high standard throughout.
I understand how homes need to be handled, prepared and reset - whether during a move, a period of change, or simply when more space and order are needed. Attention to detail and a careful, practical approach help ensure the process feels organised and manageable from start to finish.
ClearSpace operates from a secure storage warehouse, enabling flexible storage solutions to sit naturally alongside decluttering, packing and organisation services. Items can be safely moved out of the way during renovations, end of tenancy clears or reorganisations, and returned when needed - handled carefully and stored securely throughout.
I am naturally meticulous and highly organised, with a practical, hands-on approach. Clear labelling, thoughtful packing, careful cleaning and simple systems that make sense are at the heart of everything I do. Through ClearSpace, I offer practical support with decluttering, packing and unpacking, home organisation, storage and end of tenancy preparation.
My aim is always to reduce stress and help things run smoothly from start to finish.
Working with RB Services
ClearSpace works closely with RB Services, a home services and maintenance business run by my partner, Rob.
RB Services specialises in flat-pack assembly, handyman work and pressure washing, helping homeowners complete the practical jobs around their home properly and efficiently.
Between us, we have over 21 years of experience in the removals industry, giving us a strong understanding of homes, moves and the challenges that come with change. This experience means work is handled carefully, planned properly and carried out with respect for both homes and belongings.
By working together, we are able to offer more complete home solutions, reducing the need to coordinate multiple companies and creating a smoother, more joined-up experience.
